Born October 17, 1987 in Margate, Florida and called home on October 7, 2017. Drew was raised in Parkland, Florida where he grew up active in sports. He graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School where he played football, before attending Florida Atlantic University. Drew was a locksmith. A caring, kind, happy person, he never met a stranger and could always make you laugh. Drew is survived by his father, Andrew Potesta, his mother, Karen Piser, and husband Tim, and sister, Laura Potesta; grandparents Rudy and Patricia Potesta, predeceased grandmother, Mary Potesta, grandmother Jo Ann Land and predeceased grandfather, Joe Land. Along with his aunts, uncles, and cousins, he is also survived by his best friend and brother by choice, Jason Sabatino. "Big D" had a heart as big as he was and will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.
